Es simple inquietud por saber qué hay al otro lado de la esquina, más allá del horizonte. Ese misterio me impulsa, si bien últimamente no hago más que recibir inputs (previsiones) angustiosos y fatalistas de cara al futuro. ¿Tanto perderemos para volver al equilibrio? O ¿El reajuste necesario nos fortalecerá? Hace unos días viendo a unos niños jugando en un parque me dio por pensar en el futuro que les espera. ¿Cómo será? Dicen que peor que nuestro presente, pero ¿Es conveniente que esta predicción, que por cierto, no se sabe si será certera, determine desde ya su educación? Está claro que hay que tener cuidado con los mensajes que se generalizan y acaban tornándose en verdades absolutas para mucha gente que tiene la convicción de que haga lo que haga, su destino está escrito, o que su futuro no depende de sí mismos. No creo que nuestra inteligencia social nos aconseje deprimir a la colectividad y hacerla dueña de un victimismo que nos paralice, porque ¿Cómo vamos a vivir sin esperanza? Los bebés nacen con predisposiciones, y con posibilidades, pero finalmente será la sociedad la que determine cuáles serán reales. Cuando se apela a que pensemos en las generaciones que nos sucederán, es decir, a plantearnos qué futuro les espera, se nos está pidiendo más compromiso colectivo por construir una sociedad mejor, ya que al fin y al cabo, será entre todos como se defina el futuro. Muchas veces queremos supervivir, por ejemplo, viviendo a través de valores intangibles y no reales. Precisamente, esa proyección-especulación nos ha hundido en una grave crisis económica. Y cuando la ensoñación y la quimera en la que vivíamos, cada uno de nosotros y todos en su conjunto, se pincha tenemos que reaccionar para resolver los problemas que a todos nos afectan o que podrán afectar a otros en el futuro, porque lo que ocurra de aquí en adelante depende de la interacción de todos, es decir, de nuestra inteligencia social. Sin duda, si tuviera una máquina del tiempo, me transportaba al futuro para comprobar si hemos sabido trabajar en equipo y hemos tenido buenas ocurrencias.
