– Se reciclarían objetos desechados, aumentando su vida útil y por tanto minimizando el impacto medioambiental del desecho de los materiales con los que están fabricados.
– Se permitiría a muchos ciudadanos en situación desesperada por la crisis, recoger lo que otros han tirado, sin coste alguno, aprovechándolo para sus propios hogares o quizás para repararlos y venderlos.
– Se daría un respiro al vertedero de Zonzamas.
– Los Puntos Limpios adquirirían un mayor significado, convirtiéndose en lugares de reciclaje y solidaridad.
Hemos de recordar que los Puntos Limpios, aunque estén gestionados por empresas privadas, son instalaciones auspiciadas y sufragadas con fondos públicos. Entre todos estamos pagando su gestión, y solo por decisión de unos cuantos políticos, que seguramente jamás han tenido la necesidad de reciclar nada en sus vidas, se impide a los ciudadanos retirar nada.
