Oscartienealas es una de las bandas con más calidad y proyección de Lanzarote. Su estilo, cañero e irreverente, pero musicalmente muy cuidado, toca claves indie, rock y electropop. Su trayectoria está asociada a la de Óscar Pérez, núcleo del proyecto que, sin embargo, no consiguió el éxito relativo hasta que se asoció con un bajista de la calidad de Mame Hernández y un batería solvente como es Jose Suárez.

Para quien tenga curiosidad por saber más de este grupo, imprescindible la entrevista concedida  por Óscar a la web lanzaroterock.com, en la que analiza la evolución de la banda, el panorama musical conejero y canario en general, etc…

Si en algo sobresale la banda es en la calidad de sus actuaciones en vivo. Sus directos destacan por la energía que Óscar transmite en cada canción y por lo cuidado del sonido, que denota un intenso trabajo de sonorización previo a las actuaciones (algo que muchos grupos no atienden lo suficiente). Ante un público normalmente bastante pasivo, como es el de Lanzarote, Oscartienealas consigue hacer mover esqueletos allí donde otros fracasan gracias a sus ritmos vivos y la contundencia de sus letras. El bajo de Mame, fundamental, imprime ese extra que faltaba a las canciones de Óscar, enriqueciendo mucho un producto que ya de por sí era bueno.
