Perfil: María Dolores Luzardo de León, la nueva Delegada del Gobierno en Lanzarote

No hace ni un mes que ocupa al cargo (que ya obtuvo en el año 1996, cuando Aznar llegó al poder) y la incombustible política del Partido Popular ya está dando que hablar. Como los árbitros que a la mínima oportunidad reparten tarjetas amarillas y rojas a diestro y siniestro, Loly Luzardo se ha despachado a gusto con siete denuncias a ciudadanos que se manifestaron frente a la sede de su partido, en lo que podría ser un claro caso de uso indebido de un cargo institucional para resolver venganzas personales. Recordemos un poco la historia de este peculiar personaje político.

La página del Parlamento de Canarias muestra esta breve pero concentrada reseña biográfica:

Nacida el 7 de agosto de 1953 en Máguez (Haría), divorciada y con dos hijos. Es profesora de Educación Secundaria. Durante cuatro años presidió la Federación de APAS de Lanzarote, siendo también Secretaria de la Confederación Regional de APAS Siete Islas, y Secretaria del Consejo Escolar de Canarias. Ingresó en el Partido Popular en el año 1994. Fue concejala el la Alcaldía de Arrecife en 1995-1996; hasta que en junio de 1996 fue nombrada Delegada del Gobierno en la Isla. En las Elecciones de 1999 fue la candidata del Partido Popular al Cabildo de Lanzarote y durante un año ostentó la Consejería de Sanidad. En el 2003, Consejera del Cabildo Insular de Lanzarote y concejala del Ayuntamiento de Arrecife. Durante dos años, compatibilizó su responsabilidad en el Ayuntamiento, como Segunda Teniente Alcalde y Concejala de Obras, Tráfico y Transportes, con el cargo de Consejera de Turismo Interior y Nuevas Tecnologías en el Cabildo de Lanzarote. Desde el 2005 al 2007, desempeñó tareas de concejala y consejera en la oposición en dichas instituciones. En la actualidad es Diputada en el Parlamento de Canarias (VII LEGISLATURA) Como cargo orgánico del Partido Popular en Lanzarote ha tenido distintas responsabilidades. Fue Secretaria Insular del PP desde 1996 hasta el año 2000 y, desde 2005, es Presidenta de la Gestora Insular.

Esta antigua profesora, que lleva ya 18 años en el Partido Popular ocupando puestos y responsabilidades de todo tipo, fue la encomendada por Jose Manuel Soria para dirigir la gestora del Partido Popular en la isla cuando el anterior presidente insular del PP, Alejandro Díaz, «fue dimitido», como él mismo aclaró en su día:

«Yo ya me he retirado y me he retirado no porque yo haya querido sino porque el señor Soria me ha expulsado del partido o de la organización política.»

Además, Alejandro nos dejaba en aquella entrevista algunas pinceladas de lo que para él era Loly Luzardo, y el curioso tándem que formaba con José Manuel Soria.

«esto viene a poner también de manifiesto que a doña Loly Luzardo no le importa el partido, no le interesa lo más mínimo la organización política, le interesa ella, le interesa estar, porque es la única manera de no dar clase, que es lo que quiere ella y mantenerse a ver si puede ser y está desesperada a ver si ya la nombran candidata a alguna parte, para a ver si se puede mantener en el ‘machito’ cuatro años más y eso no es política, eso no es realizar tampoco un trabajo de carácter orgánico; eso no es nada más que pensar en una persona como ella misma a los efectos de no realizar otra tarea sino mantenerse en la política. Y eso de alguna manera es darle la espalda a Lanzarote, ir en contra de los intereses de Lanzarote, porque como ella quiere mantenerse en el ‘machito’ le da exactamente igual lo que se diga desde la Regional, lo que diga el señor Soria y si el señor Soria dice vamos a ir en contra de los intereses de Lanzarote como lo ha hecho, ella dice amén, sí señor y vota a favor de lo que diga el señor Soria.«

Y es que recordemos que la «dimisión» de Alejandro Diaz se produjo en un contexto de claro perjuicio para el Partido Popular de Lanzarote en particular y para la isla de Lanzarote en general. Como explicamos en la entrada «PP Lanzarote«, el PP había conseguido llegar a la presidencia del Cabildo de Lanzarote por primera vez en su historia. Pero Soria obligó al entonces presidente cabildicio, Francisco Cabrera, a cesar a los consejeros de Coalición Canaria, en venganza por lo que hizo Adán Martín en el Gobierno de Canarias, que cesó a los Consejeros del Partido Popular, entre los que estaba el propio hermano de José Manuel Soria.

Alejandro Díaz no toleró aquella impostura, y «fue dimitido», llevándose a otros militantes. Quedaron el resto, los de Soria. Y entre ellos, en posición destacada, Loly Luzardo, que dirigiría la gestora del PP, la gestora de Soria, durante seis largos años, hasta que por fin convocaron el congreso que aupó a Astrid Pérez como presidenta. Recordemos la última perla de Alejandro en aquella entrevista concedida a Crónicas:

«Él lo ha dicho sí, he hecho una política insularcita de Gran Canaria. ¿Por qué? Porque cuando yo preguntaba por qué, me decía que los votos del PP están en Gran Canaria. Los votos del PP están en Gran Canaria y en Lanzarote importa un rábano las políticas que se hagan.»

Y esta señora, la mano derecha de Soria en Lanzarote, es hoy la Delegada del Gobierno en Lanzarote. No hace falta echarle mucha imaginación para saber cual debió ser su primera reacción cuando supo lo que le sucedió a su admirado líder, en su propia sede en Lanzarote. No cuesta imaginar tampoco alguna posible llamada: «Loly, a estos se les tiene que caer el pelo». Las siete denuncias ya son historia. ¿Habría actuado con la misma contundencia la Delegada del Gobierno si en lugar de ser su partido el afectado hubiera sido otro? ¿Si en vez de ser Soria el afectado hubiera sido otra persona? Nos permitimos dudarlo.
